Personally I quite enjoy the fully co-operative play - but if you have a friend with a tendency for trolling, watch out. This separates it from other multiplayer RimWorld mods, such as Phi Mod, which allows players to interact between colonies while retaining control over their own settlements. Something worth noting is all players are able to control all aspects of the colony, which can result in some particularly cosy co-operative work. If you see a mysterious player called The Arbiter creeping around, don't worry, it's a game instance to help the server with desync issues. Even those who used it for longer periods reported a very small number of desyncs, and it's easy to rejoin should you encounter problems. We didn't experience any problems with desyncs, although we were only playing for a short while. Having completed the installation process, we entered our co-op game and were seriously impressed with the smoothness of the mod.
